NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Knicks Fans are far from losing hope and giving up after losing game three of the second round of the playoffs.
“We believe miracles,” said a fan as hundreds of Knicks supporters gathered to watch game three against the Celtics across the city. One of the watch parties took place at Mustang Harry’s on Seventh Avenue and 31st Street. It was just as exciting as being at MSG.
“Through the roof, through the ceilings, through every little crack, and this building is on fire.” Said Jennifer Gordon, Founder of OmniFan.
Fans were hopeful for a third consecutive win Saturday evening.
“We are ready to go to the conference finals. It’s been a while since we've been there, but we are ready. New York is ready,” said Jasmine Gordon, founder of Omnifan.
Even though the win didn’t happen, fans say the grit and heart of the players are keeping that momentum going.
“The comeback, the comeback is unbelievable,” said John.
Among those fans was rapper and actor Fredro Starr, best known as a member of the rap group Onyx.
“The city is electric. New York is the best city in the world. The Knicks is the best team in the world,” said Starr
So, what’s next for the Knicks? Game four against the Celtics on Monday at MSG.
