MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A lucky New York City lottery player just hit big.
A second-prize winning LOTTO ticket worth $244,016 was sold at Players Cafe on Bleecker Street near Cornelia Street, lottery officials announced Sunday.
The winning ticket was pulled during a drawing on Saturday. LOTTO drawings happen on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8:15 p.m.
The winner will have up to one year to claim the massive prize, lottery officials said. The LOTTO jackpot is up to $10 million with the next drawing on Wednesday.
Other jackpots are even bigger. The Mega Millions jackpot is up to $110 million on Sunday, and Powerball is $93 million.
