BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Police are searching for a suspect in connection to an armed robbery inside a subway station in Brooklyn on Saturday.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on a southbound M train platform, according to the NYPD.
A man approached two women, displayed a firearm, and demanded their necklaces, police said. Once he had the necklaces, he fled the subway station, heading southbound on Myrtle Avenue.
Police say the suspect is around 5'8'' and was last seen wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt, yellow sweatpants, white sneakers, a black hat, and a black mask. He also had a multi-colored bag.
