Of the Rs 12,156 crore, almost half or 48% of the total bonds purchased between April 2019 and February 2024 came from the top 20 donors alone.
These top 20 donors have companies related to mining and metals, energy and telecom to drugs and pharmaceuticals, and real estate and construction, businesses that are either controlled by the government, or require licences and clearances from various government agencies.
