In a heart-stopping incident at a house in Morayfield, Australia, a highly venomous snake made its way into the most unexpected of places: a 7-year-old girl's bedroom. The unwelcome visitor, identified as a red-bellied black snake, was discovered lurking within a doll bag in the corner of the room.
A post about the incident was shared on Facebook by Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7, a team dedicated to the safe capture and relocation of reptiles. A skilled reptile catcher by the name of Giffo was dispatched to the scene following a report of the snake's presence. Upon arrival, Giffo located and secured the venomous snake.

Red-bellied black snakes are known for their highly toxic venom, which, while potentially deadly, has not been linked to any fatalities in Australia. This fact likely provided some reassurance to the concerned family and onlookers. Following its capture, the snake was not harmed; instead, it was relocated to a wilderness area where it could continue its life far from human habitation.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the close proximity in which humans and wildlife coexist in Australia.
