Massey and his partner, Sheetal Thakur, welcomed their son, Vardaan, on February 7.

He emphasised the importance of adaptability in the rapidly changing world and prioritised the health of his newborn. He said, "It's the best role of my life. A role that's going to last a lifetime and the one I'm most looking forward to. I'm going to take each day as it comes. I want to be nimble and think on my feet, so I can adapt."

He added, "The pace at which the world is changing is faster than most of us can comprehend, so there's no point in planning ahead. The priority is to ensure my baby is healthy, and apart from that, I'm just soaking it all in."

The couple made the announcement via a social media post, which received a flood of congratulatory messages from friends and fans alike.

They later revealed their son's name through another post, where Thakur was seen cradling the baby. Massey and Thakur, who have been dating since 2015, have previously worked together in the series 'Broken But Beautiful'.
