In an extraordinary event that caught the attention of golfers and wildlife enthusiasts alike, a peaceful game of golf at the Heritage Golf and Country Club in Victoria, Australia, was suddenly transformed into a spectacle straight out of a nature documentary. Stephen Roche, a golfer present at the scene, managed to capture the moment on video and shared it on social media, showcasing what he described as a ‘stampede’ of kangaroos bounding across the golf course.
The Heritage Golf and Country Club, known for its scenic beauty and challenging courses, is no stranger to kangaroo sightings. These marsupials are a common sight in the area, often seen lounging or grazing around the course.
However, the sheer number of kangaroos involved in this particular incident was unprecedented. "We have kangaroos on our two courses at Heritage Golf & Country Club, but I've never seen this before," Roche remarked, highlighting the unusual nature of the event.

As the kangaroos hopped their way through the course, Roche humorously pleaded with them not to stand on his golf ball. The video quickly garnered attention, with fellow golfer Michael McCarthy responding with footage of the same event from a different perspective, noting that the kangaroo parade "felt like it went forever."
