The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued a cautionary notice to candidates regarding fake information circulating about the UP Police Constable exam date 2024. There have been reports that claim the exam will be conducted on June 20 and 21, 2024, but this is deemed false by the authorities.
Aspirants are warned that this is a fake notice and no official update on the exam date has been issued as of now. It is advised to only access the official website-uppbpb.gov.in for the latest updates on the UP Police exam date 2024.
UPPRPB issued a picture of a fake notice on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "Fake letter regarding written examination of constable recruitment-23 is being viral. No such letter/information has been issued by the Board. Information related to the examination will be published along with the release on the Board's website http://uppbpb.gov.in and official X handle @Upprpb @Uppolice."

Earlier, the UP Police constable exam, which was initially scheduled for February 17 and 18, was cancelled by the Uttar Pradesh government due to reports of paper leaks. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had assured that a re-exam would be conducted within six months. While speculation suggests that the re-exam might take place in August 2024, there has been no confirmation from UPPRPB yet.
VACANCY DETAILS
Regarding the UP Police Vacancy for 2024, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced over 60,000 Police constable vacancies for Class 12 passed candidates. The initial exam took place on February 17 and 18 across 75 districts of UP and over 43 lakh students appeared for it.
However, the exam faced complications as the question paper was leaked during the second shift on both days, resulting in its cancellation.
