The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released a notice regarding the list of universities that have been granted autonomy under the University Grants Commission (Categorisation of Universities (only) for Grant of Graded Autonomy) Regulations, 2018. The notice has been issued on the official website of the UGC. As per the notice, four universities have received Category 1 autonomy and 4 universities have received Category 2 autonomy.
