'Temptation Island' contestant Cheshtha Bhagat accuses Nikhil Mehta of cheating

Cheshtha Bhagat, who was one of the contestants on 'Temptation Island India', recently confirmed her break up with Nikhil Mehta. Speaking about it in an interview, she accused him of cheating on her. Cheshtha also revealed that Nikhil has been in a committed relationship with another woman for over five years.

In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Cheshtha opened up about her break up. She said, "Upon exiting the show, I received a reality check and discovered many things that were previously concealed from me. I learnt that he had been involved in a committed relationship for five years. When I confronted Nikhil about this, he consistently recounted false narratives."

Additionally, she shared that Nikhil's girlfriend reached out to her and disclosed the truth firsthand. Chestha said, "His girlfriend contacted me and told me the truth, and I was shocked. We talked for three-four hours. In fact, she told me that they both watched the show's finale episode together. I feel the show was just a content for him."

When asked if she regrets ending her relationship with Arjun Aneja, she said, "I don't regret it because I did not dump him for Nikhil. We parted ways respectfully and I still respect Arjun. We were never meant for each other. Nikhil just gave me a realisation of what I was lacking in a relationship."

During the interview, Siddharth questioned if she was angry with Nikhil. Cheshtha responded, "I am not angry, I am disheartened and disappointed in him." She continued, "He knew everything about me. I shared a lot of my information with him. We had a bond and I thought he had my back."

She added, "We connected on a spiritual level and that is more heartbreaking for me. Now that I think of everything, I wonder if it was a facade. He shouldn't have done this."

Cheshtha Bhagat had entered 'Temptation Island India' with her former boyfriend, Arjun Aneja. The couple was in a relationship for 11 years before ending their relationship on the reality TV show.
