The office of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) was allegedly set on fire by miscreants late on Sunday night. The party has alleged that the ruling YSR Congress Party's "vendetta politics" was behind the incident.

The incident occurred soon after TDP chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu concluded a public gathering in Pedakurapadu.

Videos showed the office completely ablaze.

TDP leader and Pedakurapadu Assembly Constituency In-charge, Bhashyam Praveen, visted the site upon learning of the incident and emphasised the gravity of the situation.

He urged law enforcement authorities to swiftly capture the perpetrators.

Bhashyam Praveen further stated that a formal complaint would be filed against the act of "political vandalism".

"We urge the police to arrest the perpetrators, and we will lodge a complaint," he said.
