Tirupati:

Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy

on Tuesday dismissed speculations about plans to replace him with a new candidate in the upcoming elections and reiterated that he is and will remain YSRCP nominee for Kadapa.
Talking to reporters at his Kadapa residence, Avinash distanced himself from the accusations levelled against him by APCC chief YS Sharmila and Dr Suneetha Narreddy, daughter of YS Vivekananda Reddy, while asserting that he will secure his hat-trick victory from Kadapa with the blessings of late chief minister Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy and former minister Vivekananda Reddy, who was murdered a few weeks before the 2019 elections.

He exuded confidence in the people and the judicial system and said he will emerge clean and victorious in both the battles in the end. Suneetha, who held a press conference later, recalled Avinash's own statements about her father Viveka striving hard for his victory in the 2019 elections till his last breath.
"If you truly have so much regard for Vivekananda Reddy, then I challenge you to fulfil his dream of seeing Sharmila as Kadapa MP. As you have acknowledged Viveka's support in your victory, it would be in your best interests to withdraw from poll fray and pledge support to Sharmila to fulfil Viveka's last desire," she dared Avinash.
