Jalen Milroe to feature in specialty role with Seahawks in 2025
May 16, 2025, ESPN journalist Brady Henderson reported about Seattle's initial plans for Jalen Milroe. The news was posted on ESPN.com and detailed the fact that the team will probably provide Milroe with a minor but thrilling role during the games this season. Even though he is not the primary quarterback behind
Sam Darnold
and Drew Lock, Milroe might still be in action immediately.
Henderson predicts that the Seahawks will create special packages to utilize Milroe's rushing ability. These packages could permit him to play a handful of snaps a game, even if not as a starter. Henderson stated, "Milroe must improve as a passer, so he won't usurp Darnold as QB1 and might not even surpass Drew Lock as QB2."Milroe was a standout at Alabama, where he was incredible with his speed and movement as a quarterback. Seattle wants to tap that athleticism in a creative manner, too, and assist him in becoming a complete quarterback over the course of the season.
