Sensex, Nifty hit record highs in special trading session

The S&P BSE Sensex rose to an all-time high of 73,982.12 before paring gains; the NSE Nifty50 also hit a record high initially.

Benchmark stock market indices hit fresh record highs during Saturday’s special trading session.

The S&P BSE Sensex rose to an all-time high of 73,982.12 before paring gains; the NSE Nifty50 also hit a record high initially.

At around 9:23 am, the Sensex was trading 82.93 points higher at 73,828.18, while the Nifty50 was up 38.70 points at 22,377.45. All the broader market indices were also trading in positive territory.

Today’s trading will be divided into two sessions, one from 9:15 am to 10 am and the next one from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
