PENNSYLVANIA (PIX11) – Thomas Jefferson University apologized after names were horribly mispronounced during a graduation ceremony for nursing students. The incident in Philadelphia went viral last week after multiple videos were posted on social media.
The school says the names were mispronounced because the speaker was reading the phonetic spellings of the names and didn't have the full names written out. In its apology, the school said they are deeply sorry for any disappointment this may have caused.
