MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A robber swung two hammers at a 7-Eleven worker who tried to keep him from leaving the Manhattan store on Tuesday, police said.
The man stole some merchandise and was confronted by the worker at the store on West 42nd Street in Hell's Kitchen at around 12:30 a.m., according to the NYPD. The thief then threatened the employee with the tools before running off, police said. The worker was not injured.
The suspect was last seen wearing a long jacket and holding the two hammers, police said. There have been no arrests.
