Railways reacts to man's angry complaint on 'bad condition' of Maurya Express train

A passenger travelling on the Maurya Express recorded a video showcasing the perceived "bad" condition of the train. The footage was shared by his friend on X on March 7.

Sharing the video, X user Rahul claimed the condition of the train was so bad that all the nuts and bolts were loose, and the walls were broken.

"A friend of mine was travelling on 15027 Maurya Express train yesterday. Condition of the train was so bad that air was coming from outside, all nuts and bolts were loose, walls were broken. The train was operating by the God's grace," reads the caption of Rahul's post.

Since being posted online, the video captured over 31k views and social media users expressed their concerns in the comments section of the post.

"The nuts and bolts are borrowed for use on the V-B trains. It keeps costs in check," a user said.

"Our trains have improved in the South, plus they are clean. When trains come from the North, they're always dirty. Civic sense in people is missing," another user said.

As the post went viral with thousands of comments and views, Railway Seva, the official account for support to passengers, reacted to the post on X.

The official X handle of Divisional Railway Manager, Lucknow Division, North Eastern Railway also responded to the post.

People often express their grievances about their experiences of travelling via train on social media.
