MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed a woman in the back in Manhattan on Saturday.
The alleged attack happened around 10:55 a.m. at Saint Nicholas and West 111th Street.
The suspect approached the 55-year-old victim and stabbed her in the lower back with an unknown sharp object, according to the NYPD.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital.
No arrests have been made as of 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, a light-colored shirt, blue pants, and white and black sneakers.
