EAST HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) --- NYPD officers used a Taser to subdue a man who was fighting with them on a Manhattan street Friday, police said.

Scared pedestrians flagged the cops about an angry man acting aggressively near Lexington Avene and 125th Street at around 11:20 a.m., according to the NYPD. The officers tried to talk to the man before a fight ensued, police said.

The cops then used the Taser so they could take him into custody, officials said. The man was sent to the hospital for treatment.
