The shooting incident outside Salman Khan's home in Mumbai has left the fans of the actor in shock. However, the reality TV star, Shiv Thakare is confident that nothing can happen to Khan as he has the blessings of God and the well-wishes of his millions of fans.

Shiv, while talking to the paparazzi at an event in Mumbai, said, "Uppar vaale ki dua hai unke saath, kuch nahi hoga unko. Bohot logg pyaar karte hain unko. Sahi hain vo, uppar wala saath hai.. (The blessings of God are with him. Nothing will happen to him. Many people love him. He is fine, God is with him."

Shiv Thakare was a part of Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 16.

On Sunday, April 14, two bike-borne men fired four rounds of shots outside Salman's Galaxy Apartments house. The incident occurred around 4:51 am. Hours later, Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the incident in a social media post. He said it was only a "trailer".

Salman's father Salim Khan also reacted to the incident and ensured that the 'Tiger 3' actor is doing well. He told CNN News 18, "There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry.”

Meanwhile, IndiaToday.in has exclusively learnt that Salman Khan has asked his team not to change his work schedule.

A source told us, “Salman is very much focused on going about his work as planned earlier. He doesn’t want to give attention to those behind this firing incident because he feels that is exactly what they want. Instead, he has asked friends and actors from the industry not to worry."

Though Salman is not shooting for a film, he has a few brand endorsements in the pipeline.
