JERSEY SHORE, N.J. (PIX11) – The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness has launched its "Secure the Shore" initiative to prevent criminal activity along the Jersey Shore.
The initiative comes after the boardwalk in Wildwood was closed and crowds got out of hand in Seaside Heights.
The director of the agency, Laurie Doran, talks about the initiative on PIX11 Morning News.
