THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – Police are searching for two men accused of choking and stealing from a victim at a U-Haul parking lot in the Bronx on May 7, according to the NYPD.
It happened on May 7 inside 383 Grand Concourse around 2:10 p.m. Police said the 43-year-old victim was approached by the suspects, who allegedly pulled out a gun and threatened him.
The victim was then placed in a chokehold before being punched and kicked, according to authorities.
Police said the two suspects stole $7,000 worth of clothing out of the victim’s car before fleeing the scene in a gray minivan going south on Walton Avenue.
The victim suffered from swelling and cuts, according to authorities. Police said he was taken to a local hospital by EMS.
The first suspect was wearing a green sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers, according to authorities. Police said the second suspect wore a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black sneakers.
