TREMONT, The Bronx (PIX11) – A man is accused of hitting a pedestrian and dragging a woman while driving in Tremont early Monday, according to the NYPD.
It happened on East Tremont Avenue around 2:22 a.m. A 30-year-old man in a car was arguing with a 30-year-old woman who was outside the vehicle, police said.
The man then backed the car up, striking a 66-year-old man, according to authorities. He then allegedly drove away while the woman hung onto the car, dragging her, police said.
The man then crashed into two other vehicles. He then allegedly left the car and fled the scene on foot, according to authorities.
The man was arrested and charges are pending, police said.
