Man arrested in connection to child grazed by bullet in the Bronx: police

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man was arrested Monday in connection to a shooting in the Bronx that grazed a 2-year-old boy on Saturday, according to police.

Freddy Flores was arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Additional information was not immediately available.

The child was with his mom when shots were fired just before 2 p.m. At least five shots were fired, according to police.

The toddler is expected to recover, authorities said.
