NEW DELHI: Several
schools
in the Delhi-NCR region received
bomb threat
emails, leading to immediate
evacuations
and school
closures
on Wednesday morning.
The affected schools include:
- Mother Mary’s School in Mayur Vihar
- St. Thomas' Girls Senior Secondary School
- Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri
- Army Public School, DPS International School
- DPS schools in RK Puram, East of Kailash, Vasant Vihar, Dwarka, Noida
- G D Goenka in Dwarka
While some principals claim that it's
spam mail
sent by dissatisfied members of a
parents' group
potentially disappointed by unresolved issues in the school's functioning, they argue that such hoax bomb threats have become rampant in the last couple of months, disrupting school hours and creating extreme panic among parents and students.
