On April 17, Prithvi took to his Instagram account and shared a picture in which he can be seen looking at a phone screen in his hand and narrating a shot to the crew. It seems he is back in his director's chair after spending a long 15 years on 'Aadujeevitham.' He is wearing black shades and a white sweatshirt. The background of the set is blurred in the picture, but he is seen directing the camera angle to the actor.

While sharing the picture, he wrote, “On to home turf next! #L2E #EMPURAAN.” . It hints that the film's next schedule is going to be in hometown, particularly in Kerala. Soon after he posted the picture, the comment box was filled with excitement and a warm welcome to their esteemed director.
Last month, the actor posted a picture from the set to reveal that one of the biggest schedules of the film had wrapped up shooting. In an interview with Film Companion, he revealed that the shooting took more time than expected due to the process of obtaining approvals from local authorities and officials for shooting in UAE, US, and other locations.
