The wait is finally over for JEE aspirants! The JEE Advanced 2025 provisional answer key is now available for download on the official website – jeeadv.ac.in. Released by IIT Kanpur, the key contains the answers to all questions from both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the exam held on May 18.

Candidates can now match their answers, estimate scores, and even raise objections if they find any discrepancies.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD JEE ADVANCED 2025 PROVISIONAL ANSWER KEY

Go to the official website: jeeadv.ac.in
Look for the 'Important Announcements' section on the homepage
Click on 'JEE (Advanced) 2025 Provisional Answer Keys'
Choose Paper 1 (morning shift) or Paper 2 (afternoon shift) as needed
The answer key PDF will open or download automatically
Save the file for future reference

Found something off in the answer key? You can submit your comments or objections through the candidate portal on the same website till May 27, 5 pm. After that, the objection window closes and no further feedback will be accepted.

Feedback and comments through email or any other means will not be accepted.

MARKING SCHEME FOR JEE ADVANCED 2025

Here’s how marks are awarded:

+3 for every correct answer
-1 for a wrong answer
0 marks for unanswered questions

FINAL JEE ADVANCED RESULT DATE ANNOUNCED

Once all the feedback is reviewed, the final answer key and JEE Advanced 2025 result will be out on June 2, 2025 at 10 am. So keep your login details ready.

This year, around 1.87 lakh candidates registered for the JEE Advanced exam. Ahead of the provisional key, IIT Kanpur had already released the question papers and recorded responses on May 22.
