NEW YORK (PIX11) – Full service on the F and M subway lines has resumed Monday after a track project forced service changes for months, according to the MTA.

Train service has been impacted since August, when the MTA started a track and infrastructure renewal project. F subway service was moved to the E line between Rockefeller Center and Jackson Heights.

The F line became a shuttle between 21st Street–Queensbridge and 57th Street. The bus was the only public transit option overnight for commuters.

MTA officials will be at the 21st Street–Queensbridge subway station to greet commuters around 9 a.m. They'll then take the F train to the Roosevelt Island station.
