Speaking on the matter, Producer and actor

JD Majethia

recently shared exclusively with ETimes TV, I was in a meeting when Bhakti Soni, who is Gurucharan and my common family friend called me saying that there was a serious situation that she wanted to share. She told me that Gurucharan had been missing since 22nd April. He was going to come to Mumbai on the 22nd. He even left his home to board his flight from Delhi Airport but didn't come to Mumbai. Bhakti had even gone to the Airport to receive him but he was nowhere to be found. When they further inquired with the Airport authorities they came to know that he didn't board the flight itself. However, before boarding the plane, Gurucharan had texted Bhakti that he was about to begin the boarding process."

JD Majethia, who is the Producer of popular TV shows like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Khichdi, Wagle Ki Duniya, further shared, "Gurucharan's parents were searching for him and a day later they lodged a missing complaint in the nearest police station. His parents are extremely old and aren't keeping well. When Bhakti told me, the first thing I did was circulate the message to spread awareness so that they would take action and search for him. I even shared the information with the team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. I contacted Dilip Joshi and all."
