It's been seven days since
Gurucharan Singh Sodhi
aka Roshan Sodhi, from "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah," went missing. He left home on April 22 to catch a flight to Mumbai but never made it there.

last showed him near Palam area in Delhi. Police are investigating, leaving fans and well-wishers deeply shocked by the news.

, who plays the role of Atmaram Bhide's daughter Sonu in the show and has shared screen space with Gurucharan Sodhi is equally shocked with the news.
The actress recently spoke with ETimes TV and shared that she was in touch with Gurucharan until sometime back on WhatsApp, but they haven't met in a while.
Sharing her thoughts on Gurucharan going missing, she said, "Of course, when we first got to know about the news, it was very shocking for all of us. We are just hoping and praying that you know wherever he is, he is just doing fine. We just hope he comes back soon. We all are waiting for him."
The actress further shared that she hopes Gurucharan is doing fine wherever he is and comes back soon, "We were in touch with each other but it was long back. We all were actually busy with our own lives. Woh apne life mein busy the, hum apni life mein...So we were not in regular or constant touch. But we would wish each other on special occasions like birthdays, festivals, anniversaries, thode time pehle tak we used to wish each other on WhatsApp. But it's been a long time since I have spoken to him or met him. I am just hoping he is fine and comes back soon. All our prayers are with him," she said.
The latest development in the case, according to South Delhi's DCP Rohit Meena, is the collection of
vital clues
by the investigative team. DCP Meena explained, "We have filed a case under Section 365 of the IPC and are initially focusing on tracing his whereabouts through CCTV footage and examining supporting technical evidence. Notably, he was observed carrying a backpack."
