Emraan Hashmi follows a strict diet regime, eating the same meal every day for two years. His diet consists of chicken keema, salad, and sweet potatoes. He jokingly said that his wife had been threatening to leave him due to his monotonous food routine.

Emraan clarified that his family doesn't have to follow his diet, but his wife is certainly annoyed with it. "My wife is thinking of leaving me. She keeps threatening me but has not done it yet. She doesn’t eat what I eat, and I’ve been following this particular diet for two years. The salad has avocado, brussels sprouts, lettuce, rocket leaves. Then I have keema and sweet potatoes. This is both meals, lunch and dinner," he said.

Emraan's diet was discussed during his conversation with Janice Sequeira. The actor revealed that he no longer consumes quinoa, a food he had previously mentioned to Sequeira 13 years ago, suggesting sweet potatoes as a better alternative. He said, "Just switch to sweet potatoes. So I have two staple meals every day, and I have the same thing, every year. It’s extremely boring, but I’ve chicken keema, because it’s kind of easy to digest, and it’s boiled. Then I have salad and sweet potatoes. My cook stocks it, makes it for like an entire week, and we bifurcate throughout the day."

Professionally, Emraan will next be seen in the role of a producer in 'Showtime', a Disney+ Hotstar series written by Sumit Roy and directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar.

The series, which also features Rajeev Khandelwal, Mouni Roy, Naseeruddin Shah, Mahima Makwana and Shriya Saran in key roles, is set to premiere on March 8.
