Speaking about preserving the
heritage mansion
and the reasons behind choosing this location, event host
Arijit Datta
said, “We deemed this the ideal location to host such a celebration, as Khelat Ghosh himself was enthusiastic about organising
cultural evenings
here. This beautiful mansion needs to be protected. Our plan is to convert it into a
homestay
where tourists can come and experience the rich heritage and history of this mansion.”
