The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the exam date for the CTET July 2024 session. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is scheduled to take place on July 7, 2024.

The online registration process for CTET July 2024 has started on the official website -- ctet.nic.in. The deadline for application submission is April 2. The examination, scheduled for July 7, will be held in 20 different languages across two shifts: from 9:30 am to noon and from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

The exam will be conducted in 136 cities nationwide. CTET 2024 will consist of two papers: Paper 1 (for Class 1 to 5) and Paper 2 (for Class 6 to 8).

To apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2024, follow the below-mentioned steps:

• Visit the official website of CTET (ctet.nic.in) and look for the link to apply online for the July 2024 exam. Click on the link to start the registration process.
• Fill out the application form with accurate personal and educational details. Make sure to double-check all the information before submitting the form.
• You may be required to upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the specifications provided on the website.
• After filling out the application form, pay the application fee. The fee can usually be paid online through various modes such as credit/debit card, net banking, etc.
• Before the final submission, review all the details in the application form carefully.
• After successful submission of the application form and payment of the fee, you will be able to download and print the confirmation page. Keep this page safe for future reference.

For CTET July 2024, candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay Rs 1,000 for one paper and Rs 1,200 for both papers. Meanwhile, candidates from SC, ST, and differently-abled categories need to pay Rs 500 for a single paper and Rs 600 for both papers as the registration fee.

The CTET January 2024 took place on January 21. Out of the 26,93,526 candidates who registered for the exam, 84 percent of them appeared for the test.
