THE BRONX (PIX11) -- One of New York City’s wildest summer traditions is back, "Brew at the Zoo" returned to the Bronx Zoo on Friday.
The Bronx Zoo attracts many visitors daily but on Friday evening, hundreds of people came and it wasn’t for the animals. They were there for “Brew at the Zoo,” screamed one of the attendees
With 60 pouring stations and 20 food vendors, brew at the zoo attendees had over 100 varieties of beer, wine, seltzer, and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from.
Victor and Any Cabrera have been married for 20 years and have three children but this was the perfect occasion for some husband-and-wife time only.
“Looking forward to just exploring and enjoying the night with my wife, have a babysitter, no kids. Date night, way overdue,” said Cabrera.
There were games and a lot of dancing and singing.
“Just the vibe everyone enjoying their time, that makes me happy seeing everybody else happy." Said Josh Nunez.
The first Brew at the Zoo took place in 2016 and some people loved it so much that this isn’t their first.
“Second time, it was fantastic, ready to do it again.” Said Chase Stafford.
