CM: CBI likely to seek blue-corner notice against Prajwal Revanna

BENGALURU: Karnataka Police's Special Investigation Team (

SIT

) probing the

sex videos

and pictures allegedly involving JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna is set to get an Interpol blue corner notice issued through Central Bureau of Investigation (

CBI

) against him. The 33-year-old MP had flown out of the country on a diplomatic passport, and is suspected to be in Germany.
A blue corner notice is a type of alert used by Interpol to obtain information, including the current address and other details of a suspect hiding in a foreign country and facing criminal charges in his home country.

In Prajwal's case, chief minister Siddaramaiah hinted on Saturday on issuing a blue corner notice against him.
"We will not tolerate any delay in the investigation. We will proceed with appropriate measures and arrest the suspects," he said.
