BTS RM's donation to music school inspires student to become K-idol

BTS leader RM aka Kim Namjoon recently inspired a student to become a K-pop idol of the first ever deaf boy group. The idol said he was inspired to join the music world after RM donated a huge sum to his school to further its music education.

BTS' leader and rapper RM‘s 2019 donation to a school on the occasion of his birthday has inspired a student to become a K-pop idol, he shared with the Korean media recently. Consequently, the world now has its first ever deaf boy group called Big O!cean.

The group's member Jiseok disclosed the kind of influence RM has had on his life. He shared that RM had donated to his school to further its music education. The move inspired Jiseok to pursue the 'Idol life'. RM reportedly donated 100 million KRW (around $72,500 USD).

In the same interview, Jiseok also shared that the one artiste he would love to collaborate with would also be RM. RM is an accomplished rapper, songwriter and producer.

RM is currently enlisted in the military to complete his mandatory term, as are the rest of the BTS members.

On the other hand, Big O!cean shared that it wants to introduce S-Pop, or Sign Language Pop to the world of social media.
