NEW DELHI: In an unfortunate turn of events, a

gigantic six injured a fan in the stands during the high-scoring thriller between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians in the national capital on Saturday.
As the massive David strike sailed into the stands, a fan found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time as the ball hit his face.
The incident took place in the 14th over of the MI chase of 258 when David launched a Khaleel Ahmed delivery into the deep mid-wicket stands.

As a fan tried to catch the ball, he missed and the ball then deflected off his hands straight to the face of another fan, standing beside him.

Soon after copping a blow to his face, the fan was seen in pain and agony he covered his face with a handkerchief.
After the unfortunate incident, David went on to score 17-ball 37 but Mumbai Indians weren't able to chase down 258 target, finishing on 247 for 9 in yet another high-scoring IPL thriller.
With the defeat, MI slumped to the 9th spot while Capitals moved to fifth position on the points table.
