NEW YORK (PIX11) – The next drawing for the $935 million Powerball jackpot will be held Saturday, and you may be feeling a little luckier if you're from the tri-state area.
A ticket in New Jersey won the $1.13 billion Mega Millions jackpot earlier this week.
The last Powerball winner was announced on New Year's Day. The odds aren't in anyone's favor, unfortunately – there is a 1 in 292 million chance of winning the big prize.
You have a better chance of becoming president or getting killed by a vending machine. Your chances, though, of winning a smaller prize are much better – it's about 1 in 25.
The Powerball drawing will be held Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
