NEWARK, N.J. (PIX11) --- Authorities are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the capture of the four detainees who escaped an ICE detention center in Newark Thursday night.
The FBI and the Department of Homeland Security are searching for Franklin Norberto Bautista-Reyes, Joel Enrique Sandoval-Lopez, Joan Sebastian Castaneda-Lozada, and Andres Pineda-Mogollon, officials said.
The men escaped from Delaney Hall in Newark Thursday night during a riot that broke out because of insufficient food. But officials said there has not been "widespread unrest" at the detention center, according to the DHS.

Authorities allege that Honduras native Bautista-Reyes is in the country illegally and was arrested in New Jersey for aggravated assault, attempt to cause bodily injury, terroristic threats, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.
Sandoval-Lopez came into the U.S. from Honduras as a minor and has been arrested for unlawful possession of a handgun and aggravated assault, according to DHS.
Columbia native Pineda-Mogollon overstayed his tourist visa after coming to the U.S. in 2023, and he has been arrested for petit larceny in New York City and for residential burglary, conspiracy residential burglary, and possession of burglary tools in New Jersey, officials allege.
Castaneda-Lozada is also from Colombia and has been arrested for burglary, theft, and conspiracy to commit burglary, authorities said.
They remained at large as of Friday.
"Additional law enforcement partners have been brought in to find these escapees and a BOLO has been disseminated,” said a senior DHS official. “We encourage the public to call 911 or the ICE Tip Line: 866-DHS-2-ICE if they have information that may lead to the locating of these individuals. DHS and the FBI are offering a $10,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of these public safety threats.”
