This year’s power-packed IPL concluded with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) emerging as the champions. In a thrilling final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, KKR defeated SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) by chasing down a target of 114 runs in just 10.3 overs with eight wickets remaining.

Following the match, social media was abuzz with reactions from fans and brands alike. Among the notable reactions were posts from popular brands such as Zomato, Swiggy, BlinkIt, and Zepto, each adding their own unique twist to the celebration.

Blinkit shared an image of a packet of rasgullas, hinting at a sweet delivery to the KKR team. "Our boys are out to deliver to @KKRiders," read the caption, celebrating the team's success. Zepto, another delivery service, playfully commented that the trophy was 'delivered' to the right team, KKR.

Zomato joined in on the fun with a cheeky post suggesting that Kolkata fans feed plenty of sweets to Australian cricketer Mitchell Starc, who plays for KKR, jokingly implying it might affect his fitness for the upcoming World Cup. "Kolkata, pls feed sooooo many sweets to Starc, he fails the fitness test for world cup," they wrote.

Swiggy, not to be left out, shared a post that playfully teased Hyderabad supporters by referencing Kolkata’s famous biryani with aloo, adding a bit of humour to the celebration.

In addition to the online buzz, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee congratulated KKR on their win. She expressed her happiness on X, stating, "Kolkata Knight Riders’ win has brought about an air of celebration all across Bengal."
