A traffic police official was carried for a few metres on the bonnet of a car after he tried to stop the vehicle in Delhi’s Peeragarhi area on Friday, officers said. According to the police, the constable saw a car approaching and sensing something suspicious, he tried to stop the vehicle. However, the vehicle didn’t stop and hit him. He fell on the bonnet and held onto the wiper. Subsequently, an officer in another vehicle chased the car and eventually stopped the car. The driver was fined for breaking the traffic rules and was subsequently allowed to go.
