Von Miller is currently not on the Buffalo Bills, but is there a chance that could change?
At least in one aspect from the player's point of view, yes.
Back in February, the 36-year-old went on the record to say he wants to be in Buffalo again in 2025. As of now, that is not happening as he has since been released by the team in a move that created salary cap space.
Flash forward to now, Miller's feelings in terms of playing again next season still have not changed. In an update Miller provided via the Associated Press, he did not name the Bills, but he said he is hopeful to be on a NFL roster again next year.
Discussing a preseason game which will honor his former late teammate Demaryius Thomas, Miller said he's hopeful to not be in attendance... for the right reasons.
“I hope to not be there — unless I’m playing for the Giants or the Broncos,” Miller said.
Currently there is a packed pass rushing unit in Buffalo with the likes of Greg Rousseau and Joey Bosa at the top of the depth chart. Bosa was signed as the veteran to essentially replace Miller in 2025... but it is a long summer and training camp before next season begins.
Things could change Miller's and the Bills' future polans.
