Vivo X Fold 3 is prepping up to launch the Pro variant in India soon. Along with being Vivo’s first foldable in India, it is also the first to boast a ZEISS Imaging System in a Vivo device.
Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will be launched in India soon
As Vivo introduced the new flagship X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro in China, the company has similar plans for the Indian market as well. Vivo is preparing to launch the Pro variant in India soon. The upcoming device will also use a flagship imaging experience thanks to ZEISS optics, as reported by MySmartPrice.
Along with being Vivo’s first foldable in India, it is also the first foldable to boast a ZEISS Imaging System. Reportedly, the smartphone will also feature the company’s custom V3 imaging chip that will support the photography capabilities of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro.
Vivo X Fold 3 Pro: ZEISS Imaging System
Vivo and ZEISS partnership has been ongoing since the flagship Vivo X series was launched. Where previously it was exclusive, the company sought to extend it to mid-range V30 Pro features ZEISS lenses.
There are reports that the X Fold 3 Pro will feature a Telephoto Camera with exceptional zooming capabilities and ZEISS Multifocal Portrait support. Another expected specification is the five golden focal lengths for portraits, combining each with the ZEISS Style Portrait.
The report also indicated that the camera resolutions will be similar to the versions launched in China. It said, “The upcoming Indian variant will have camera specifications similar to those of the X Fold 3 series in China.”
Looking at this, the users can expect a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 32MP selfie shooter.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will soon hit the home market. It hits the right target audience in India when it boasts a sleek and lightweight design.
Other specifications include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a whopping 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and storage options of up to 1TB with UFS 4.0 technology.
Since the flagship is the first ever Vivo fold in India, the screen of X Fold 3 must be addressed. With a stunning 8.03-inch inner display and a 6.53-inch outer one, both featuring AMOLED LTPO technology and a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, this phone promises an immersive viewing experience like no other.
The device is also featured with impressive camera details. Vivo X Fold 3 entails a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 64-megapixel 3x telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, all treated with Zeiss’ T* coating for those crispy-clear shots.
While the official announcement is yet to be made, the price is expected to be at around CNY 9,999 (approximately Rs 1,15,030) for the 512GB variant in India.
After the cameo on the Indian certification website, the Indian market is eager to see how the device will play here.
