is set to expand its product portfolio with the launch of a new affordable smartphone in India. The Chinese smartphone maker is set to launch the

Vivo T3 5G

smartphone in the country soon. The upcoming phone will succeed the

Vivo T2 5G

smartphone that was launched last year. The company took to social media platform X (previously Twitter) to confirm and officially tease the Vivo T3 5G.

Vivo T3 5G: What to expect

As per the X posts, the Vivo T3 5G smartphone will be available exclusively via

Flipkart

. The e-commerce platform has also created a dedicated microsite that teases the design of the handset.
The landing page shows the phone in green colour which also has a design similar to its predecessor. The Flipkart page also confirms that Vivo T3 5G will come powered by a Media Tek Dimensity chipset and will house a

Sony

OIS sensor. The exact details about the phone’s SoC and camera will be revealed on March 16 and 18, respectively.

Rumours suggest that the upcoming smartphone will be priced under Rs 20,000 and may sport a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1800 nits of peak brightness.
The screen is expected to house the selfie camera within a hole punch cutout in the centre. The Vivo T3 is likely to come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset which may be paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage option.
For photography, the Vivo T3 5G is rumoured to feature a triple rear camera unit, that may include a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS support, a 2MP bokeh lens, and a flicker sensor. On the front, the smartphone may feature a 16MP selfie shooter.
The Vivo T3 is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery unit that may support 44W wired fast charging. The smartphone may also feature a dual stereo speaker setup and an IP54 water and dust resistance rating.
