Video: MMA fighter gets banned for life after kicking ring girl

MMA star Ali Heibati has been banned for life from the Hard Fighting Championship (HFC) after assaulting a ring girl.

During his match against Arkady Osipyan at the Hardcore MMA tournament in Moscow, Heibati kicked a ring girl from behind as she walked past holding up a card signalling the start of the opening round.

The woman, surprised by his action, expressed her anger as the referee intervened to separate them.

Heibati was warned about his behaviour but went on to lose to Osipyan in the first round. The match lasted only 30 seconds before the referee ended it. However, after Osipyan walked back to his corner, Heibati attacked him, landing multiple cheap shots while his back was turned. Several individuals rushed into the cage to separate them as they awaited the official verdict.
