Caught on camera, the bride's mother, brother, and cousins dragged her away as she struggled in vain.
The incident, in Kadiam, disrupted Sneha and Battina Venkatanandu's wedding.
The groom's family and friends intervened, preventing the abduction, though one sustained severe injuries. Sneha's family now faces charges, including assault, attempted kidnapping, and gold theft.
The motive for opposing the wedding remains unclear.
