loco pilot Sneh Singh Baghel

met Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi briefly during the flagging of the semi-high-speed

at Nagpur railway station in Dec 2022, he could hardly have imagined that he would be one of the 10 loco pilots receiving an invite to his swearing-in ceremony.
“It’s such a great honour. I couldn’t believe my ears when I got the phone call,” Baghel told TOI.

With 3 years of experience, Baghel is a trained rail worker under Mission Karmayogi.
Besides Baghel, Surekha Yadav LP from Central Railway, Preeti Sahu from WCR, Srini Shrivastava from NER, Aishwarya Menon from Southern Railway, ASP Tirkey from SER, N Prakash from SCR, Lalith Kumar from SWR, Surender Pal Singh from NR, and Satya Raj Mandal from NFR will attend Modi’s oath ceremony.
