UP Police Recruitment Exam: STF arrests another accused in paper leak case

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (

STF

) on Wednesday arrested

Rajeev Nayan Mishra

(32), a native of Madhya Pradesh in connection with the

police

constable examination

paper leak

from Noida. His arrest comes after investigations revealed that he helped in opening the lock of the

question papers

from the warehouse of transportation company in Ahmedabad and giving money to the employees of transportation company for stealing question papers.

Later, these papers were distributed among the aspirants.
Additional DG, STF, Amitabh Yash, said that Rajeev had also taken aspirants to a resort in Rewa area of Madhya Pradesh and shown them question paper of UP police constable exam.
STF said that in the past also Rajeev was named in paper leaks in UPTET and NHM in MP.
Police said that Rajeev holds a Btech in civil engineering from a private college in Bhopal and came in touch with the mastermind

four years back.

However, STF said that kingpin Ravi Attri, Goldy, Vikram Pahal, and his aides Guniya, Dawood, Neetu, Monu Dhakla and Anurag are still on the run. Total 399 people have been arrested so far in connection with the UP police constable examination paper leak.
The examination, held offline in four sessions on Feb 17-18, was cancelled by the state govt on Feb 24. Subsequently, the STF was given the task to investigate the matter.
