BHOPAL: Union Home Minister
Amit Shah
will be in the city on Sunday on a one-day
visit
. He will attend the programme organised at Kushabhau Thakre Convention Centre. During this period, from 3 pm till the end of the programme,
route
diversions will be in place in the city as per requirement.
Diversion of passenger buses:
Passenger buses coming from Indore, Ujjain, Rajgarh-Biaora will reach Halalpura bus stand.
Beyond this, entry of buses within the city will be restricted. Similarly, buses from Gandhi Nagar via best price will go to Nadra bus stand. Traffic from Roshanpura Square to Polytechnic Square, Kamla Park, Retghat, VIP Road, Lalghati, Gandhi Nagar Square and from Polytechnic Square to Gandhi Park trisection will operate on the diverted route.
Alternative routes:
Traffic from Bharat Mata Square towards Mubarakpur Square will move from Bhadbhada Square, Sakshi Dhaba, Neelbad Trisection, Nathu Barkheda Road, Mugalia Chhap, Khajuri Road, Bypass Trisection. Vehicles going towards Bairagarh and Rajabhoj Airport will use this route. Vehicles going towards Sehore and Indore will also travel through this route. Vehicles going from Bhopal city towards Sehore, Indore, Rajgarh-Biaora and Rajabhoj Airport will travel from Prabhat Square via JK Road, Ratnagiri, Ayodhya Bypass Road, Bhanpur, Karond Square, New Jail and further via Gandhi Nagar.
Traffic will remain closed around the venue:
Vehicular movement will be completely restricted around the venue Kushabhau Convention Centre. Two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles going from Roshanpura Square towards Bharat Talkies and railway station will be able to travel towards Bharat Talkies from Banganga, Machhilghar, Khatlapura, PHQ trisection. Buses going from Roshanpura to the railway station will be able to travel from Apex Bank Trisection via Link Road No-1, Board Office Square, DB Mall, Press Complex, Subhash Nagar ROB, Prabhat Square and further via Pul Bogda.
