Krishnakanth Patel inspected the interstate

border checkposts

in the district on Saturday ahead of the

2024 general elections.
During his inspections at Surutupalli, Dasukuppam, Nayudukuppam, Arur and Tada, Tirupati SP directed the local police force to step up vigil and intensify vehicular checks particularly at the border checkposts as the 2024 general elections are fast approaching.

"Seizure records must be maintained thoroughly and in a foolproof manner as the election authorities will also keep a strong tab on the district wise seizures in the run-up to the general elections", Krishnakanth Patel directed the cops.
He also directed the local cops to crack the whip on illegal sand and gravel

smuggling
